In 2016, UK Storage Company (SW) Limited - an established, privately-owned self-storage business for commercial and residential storage - first approached Mezzanine International for a warehouse mezzanine at their new location in Weston-super-Mare. With a reputation in the UK self-storage industry, earned over the last twelve years, for competitive quotes matched by excellent customer service, our mezzanine experts were delighted at the opportunity to impress our new client.

The project

Mezzanine International were engaged by UK Storage to design, manufacture and install a two-tier mezzanine at 1,500 square metres in an existing warehouse to maxmise storage space. Already situated in the building was a two-floor office space element, around which the mezzanine flooring must seamlessly integrate.

The work

After an initial survey of the building, our mezzanine experts were able to quickly produce a comprehensive quote, giving UK Storage's customer a clear budget. Our technical designers then produced a grid layout for our customer, around which UK Storage then designed the ground floor layout. Once the location of the mezzanine legs were agreed between all partners, we were able to work alongside the other contractors, such as lift engineers, to meet the deadline the end customer had set.

The result

The mezzanine project was handed-over by us to UK Storage on time, enablingtheir teams to complete the installation of the individual storage units and suspended ceiling to schedule to the delight of their customer. As a result, we have been engaged by UK Storage for additional mezzanine projects.
