Our mezzanine floor systems are fully compliant with all construction and health & safety legislation and are always delivered according to standards of best practice in our industry. We are proud to have achieved ISO 9001 certification for quality management in the design, manufacture and installation of structural steelwork. We employ qualified and experienced professionals and invest in a programme of continuing professional development to enhance the skills of our team.

We take a systematic approach to quality, with a Quality Management System (QMS) underpinning our business objectives and supporting our leadership team in continuing to improve the way we work. Our commitment to quality is demonstrated by:

  • Our products comply with all British and European standards including ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification
  • Our CE marking BS EN 1090 ‘execution class 2’ accredited supply chain with Factory Production Control (FPC) in place
  • Our mezzanine structures conform to the UK government design guidance for industrial platforms in BRE Digest 437


In addition to achieving a number of Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) accreditations – including CHAS, SafeContractor and SMAS Worksafe – MiTek is a member of the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) and the Automated Material Handling Systems Association (AMHSA). We ensure that the local contractors we work with to manufacture and install our mezzanine solutions also adopt the highest quality standards, including CE marking for all products, as well as rigorous health and safety procedures.
