As part of the strengthening of its activities in the European market, MiTek Mezzanine Systems has joined the German logistics industry association, Bundesvereinigung Logistik e.V. (BVL).
"We are very pleased to now be part of this important trade network," says Bart Pulles, Business Development Manager for MiTek's German subsidiary, MiTek Mezzanine Systems GmbH. "We are looking forward to many inspiring conversations, new professional contacts and active participation in the development of the logistics sector."
Founded in 1978, BVL strives to promote awareness of the importance of logistics and to develop interdisciplinary methods and processes to solve current and future logistics challenges. "As a supplier of mezzanines for production, storage and distribution since 1986," continues Bart Pulles, "MiTek has decades of experience in the construction of steel platforms for applications in a wide range of sectors. We're looking forward to being able to share our expertise, while also learning from the insights provided by fellow members."
MiTek has had a branch in Germany since 2017. "As an international business with a presence in both Europe and North America," says Bart, "the German market is a strategically important one for us and we want to further consolidate and expand our position here. Membership of BVL, with its wide scope for exchange of information and ideas, is an important step in this direction.”
